They see it as a refusal to admit any wrong and each subsequent war or capture is to make up for the shortcomings on any "intelligence" they received from the CIA. Of course, Congress, even under the control of the Democrats can't grow a pair and impeach Bush and his cronies for messing up this badly, yet they went after Clinton, who let his pants down for a good time. They Republicans claim Clinton committed perjury and tried to hold him in contempt of the court for not being honest about having relations with that woman. That is sadly how most liberals/democrats see the Bush administration and its handling of both wars. I find this confession extremely convenient. Yet another famous Bush bait and switch. "Yeeeee haw, full steam for Bin Laden! Oh, no Bin Laden to be found, but I'm gonna git me another towel head. Yeeeee haw, invade Iraq for no reason! Oh, no WMDs to be found, but I'm gonna git me Saddam! Yeeeeee haw! Got me Saddam! Osama who? Oh yeah, that guy. Yeeeeeeeeee haw!! Now we got us the real McCoy here - some guy nobody's heard of! Make sure you remember this part of my presidency, Americans, because it was all leading up to this part! The ends justify the means and the little detail of tens of thousands of murder victims is irrelevant because now we can wag our finger at Osa... er... what's this new guy's name again?"
